Process Chiller

The chiller plant process works by continuously removing heat from a building or industrial system to maintain a controlled temperature. It begins when warm water from the building enters the evaporator, where the refrigerant absorbs heat and evaporates, cooling the water. This chilled water is then circulated through air handling units (AHUs) or fan coil units (FCUs) to cool the indoor air. As it absorbs heat, the water becomes warm again and returns to the chiller. Meanwhile, the refrigerant gas is compressed, increasing its pressure and temperature, and then moves to the condenser where it releases heat either to the air or to condenser water connected to a cooling tower.
